I have my insurance agency and after severely damaging my rear bumper, Geico sent me here and I am so glad they did. I was treated with kindness and respect from the moment I entered their waiting room. There's no other way to put it. He walked me through the repairs, kept me updated and helped me to maintain my humor, in what was otherwise a stressful situation for me.
Breakfast was delicious and the choices on the sideboard as well as on the table were plentiful. I made a lox and cheese bagel with capers and red onions, but there were several choices for grains such as toast, granola, etc. They also had different cheeses as well as preserves. Coffee, tea, and juice, were also available. It was nice to sit at the long dining table and chat with other guests about their stay.
This boutique hotel offers such friendly service, a great morning continental breakfast, free newspaper, wine happy hours, and evening cookies. it feels like you're staying in a quaint b&b without the hassle of actually having to eat with other people for breakfast.
It would have been nice to have more eat options in a hotel of this size and level of elite but its okay, because you are so close to everything. All in all, it's a great hotel and it may not be my favorite, for a city hotel, the rooms are pretty quiet and pretty sizable. There isn't much one should complain about when at the JW Marriott in San Fran anyway!
They have a great spot to chill and watch tv in the front and a spot to relax and watch music videos in the back. They offered us beer and water, and I was taken in for my haircut right away. My barber was very attentive and listened to what I wanted - and spent a lot of time with me.
They tend to be a bit more on the relaxing side. The masseuses DO know their stuff, but it's not quite the intense, athletic-benefiting massage I've found other places. I've had probably 10 different masseuses here over the past 5-6 years, and I've never had a bad massage, and a few fantastic ones. They do book up quickly during peak hours (weekends, nights), so make sure to make appointments well ahead of time.
Came in today for a haircut. There were a few people waiting already but several stylists working. I was told there were 2 call ahead haircuts but both were late so only 1 person would be ahead of me aside from a couple appointments. Well, I heard the call ahead check in 15 minutes later, and still got to go ahead.
G20 has a lot of potential - they do have basic snacks like apples and granola as well as K-cups and decaf espresso with Coffee Mate, but it would be great if there were nice options (i.e. real tea, sliced fruit, chocolate/yogurt covered pretzels, water with cucumber/citrus). Amenities were fine but in most spas it would be expected to offer mouth wash, as well as exfoliating salt and cucumber slices.
I was thrilled with the esthetician I was going to - when she moved away, I went to someone else, and was pretty disappointed - I had to awkwardly come out to the lobby and tell her to go over it again. I also complained to the owner, who sent me a coupon and urge me to try them again.
I ordered a pitcher of Sapporo beer and the large order of the chicken karaage (which is their specialty) to share. For dinner, I ordered the poke salad - you can pick from tuna, salmon, or tofu. The menu offers a bunch of Japanese and Japanese-Hawaiian fare, like loco moco
Food was all delicious and very reasonably priced given how huge the portions were. We had the chicken schnitzel, beet and arugula salad, and fish special, which included a nice piece of cod with seasonal touches like squash purée and broccolinThe bread came out warm and delicious with a generous side of butter! Great little place.
While the majority of their items were gone, they did have a good assortment of macarons (individual, gift boxes) and a few cakes so I opted for their Pomme Pomme, a wonderfully lime green apple shaped sweet. As with any Payard item, it was mild and very fresh. I had to get up then purchase the Yuzu Tart.
I got really pissed at you that one time the girl in front of me ordered the last creme brulee doughnut. I tried filling my doughnut void with Dough and Krispy Kreme (we were on a break!). There was a year or two when I didn't even see you. But, I saw you today and I remembered why I fell in love with you in the first place. You are great.
Coffee was really good! Strong and tasty! Got the necessary caffeine levels up to the point necessary to get my neurons firing! There is a decent amount of seating here - lot of folks hanging out, enjoying their coffee/espresso and working on the their computers.
They had a live band playing which was very nice, but unfortunately the place was so loud we could hardly hear it from the other side where we were seated. We had ordered the eggs benedict and the mushroom omelet, which were both very good.
You have to be a member here so there is no point in reviewing a closed or exclusive venue. Suffice it to say it's a beautiful club with a frat golf course, fitness center eye and dining is top. So if you get an invite to join take it.
I recently saw the last show of Amelia, an opera which made its world debut with these past few showings. The singing is spectacular, the scenery diverse and interesting with each new act, and everything comes together quite nicely to give you a good overall production. While I'm not screaming and jumping up and down for joy for the Seattle Opera
The movie theatre has two movie halls and a nice lobby to enjoy a drink or a snack before the movie. You pay only $6 per movie by becoming a member, which is a great deal. Every month is a different movie selection. They often bring speakers and movie directors, which makes this place an absolute gem for a movie fan.
The point is it's really neat to be able to play so many machines from so many eras in one place for as long as your carpel tunnel can take. There must be 60 or more pinball machines here, for the love of all that is holy! The smaller, second floor also has video games like Pacman and Galaga. Perfect destination on a rainy day, when your kid wants
This museum is in an old house and there was no air condition, so it was hot and stuffy. Plus many of the other exhibits were in the hallways of the house which made walking past other people a tight fit. If you like miniatures, dolls, and other toys, then this place is definitely worth a look.
I liked mine. The dessert was a surprise as well, I usually get chocolate but this time I decided to get the ricotta lemon cake with the strawberry coulis which I thought was so delish. I was surprised that I liked it so much! The service fantastic and the charm of the decor is funky and fabulous. Such a cozy and romantic spot on Melrose.
During our meeting she was very helpful explaining what the process as well as her personal process double and triple-checking which I really appreciated. Any questions on deductions she gladly answered. Just overall super helpful!
The restaurant is clean and everything is neat and fresh Positive attitude, friendly workers, and no cheap on the ingredients. Even if they don't want to give you the extra stuff, they don't give you an attitude.
The company I work for had our very belated holiday party in the downstairs cellar area of Staple & Fancy. The cellar room was very clean, old-fashioned, private, and super cute! The cellar area is basically two rooms the dining room and the bar/hangout room.
Shoreline Is a great place to relax for awhile at. Weekdays is never really crowded, thus grabbing a drink at a nearby bar and enjoying the waterfront is great. I cannot speak for the nightlife here but I enjoy it every time I'm there.
I just got my old computer fixed (old like Pentium 4, windows XP) and it is so clean and works like it is brand spanking new! is awesome and so reasonably priced. he really does a thorough job and goes above and beyond. he is really as good as it gets when it comes to service and knowledge. call this guy if you need computer help! seriously!
I will definitely be calling him again after the holidays to also take them down. He was quick and definitely knew what he was doing. He also assembled my snowman, reindeer, and santa! I decided to have the professionals do my lighting. Fantastic light at Christmas holiday.
I was more thrilled when I called them to find out that they could print everything in a day. I once had a very bad experience printing stickers (an experience of which we shall never speak of again) that took a few days and came out looking like crap. These guys printed some much more complicated stuff in 1 day and it looks great.
It has beautiful decors and by far the best clinic I ever been to. I love their choice of colors that are very smoothing in the eyes. Their service and staff are exceptional and very attentive when you walked in doctors are by far one of amazing doctors that I encounter who actually want to make their patients to live a healthier lives by finding the best possible solutions for their health concerns.
I wish i could give 10 stars as because of their work. It will be my pleasure to work with them again any time. They were so professional and knowledgeable. when you spend a good amount of money, you want to feel like you got your money's worth and we absolutely do. I recommend them 100%.
He has great customer service and you can't beat his prices with anywhere else. For my upcoming trip to Nicaragua, I used this place to exchange my USD once again. I was told to let him know in advance about when I would need Nicaraguan currency so it could be ordered.
My experience at Lake Merritt Dental has been nothing short of amazing. They provide excellent service--from the front desk to back office! Upon arrival, you can expect to be warmly greeted by the front office staff. After a short wait, you're escorted to the back office by the friendliest assistants.
He did a spectacular job that day, and since then, he's done tons of work on their old craftsman and converted carriage house, ranging from replacing a toilet to a complete kitchen renovation with custom counters and shelving and under-cabinet LED lighting. He was great. Repaired a pocket door, which not just anyone can do, on a 1950's building. Good as knew. Prepped and cleaned up well for a meticulous tenant.
